Ebor Fitness is one of only a few elite gyms around the country that are recognised as an official Hammer Strength Center due to the world-class equipment we provide. 

 

Ebor was established in 2006 by competitive bodybuilders Stuart Garrington and Andy Harkus. Andy competed in the early 2000s, winning local shows and placing at a national level. Stuart started his career as a junior in 2001. Since then he has risen through the ranks, winning British and World championships as well as the prestigious Mr Universe title in 2013 where he gained his NABBA pro card. 

It's not just a business for Stuart and Andy - both have a passion for the gym and they are constantly reinvesting in Ebor to provide an exceptional training environment and experience for their members. 

 

We are the preferred choice of many competitive athletes and count professional footballers, England cricketers and world-class physique competitors as members, not to mention some of the city's top amateur rugby players, boxers and MMA fighters who regularly use us for their strength workouts. We are also a gym where anyone - no matter age or ability - can come, feel welcome, and know that they are in the right environment to achieve their goals, no matter what they may be.
